Christchurch Cheese and Chilli Festival - 16th & 17th May 2026 -Parley Event Field, next to Bournemouth Airport

This year’s festival promises to be a vibrant celebration filled with incredible flavours, colours, and experiences—you won’t want to miss it! Whether the sun is shining or it’s a bit rainy, we guarantee it will be an amazing time for everyone!

From chilli eating competitions to magic shows, live music, food stalls and more there’s something for everyone.

 

The Christchurch Food Festival - from Friday 23rd to Monday 25th May 2026 – Christchurch Quay

 

Back for 2026, expect a vibrant mix of top chefs, artisan producers, sizzling street food, live entertainment, and a true community atmosphere.

Whether you’re a foodie, a family looking for a day out, or simply love the buzz of a festival, Christchurch Food Festival is the place to be. And the best part? It’s completely free to enjoy.

Christchurch Music Festival – 17th – 19th July 2026 - Christchurch Quay

Christchurch Music Festival has been part of the town’s story for over 30 years – and now, it’s stepping into an exciting new era.

The 2026 festival promises a vibrant weekend of world-class entertainment, street food, drinks, and community spirit, all set against the stunning backdrop of Christchurch Quay, Dorset.

Soundtrack Your Summer with acts such as Trevor Nelson, Top Loader, Mark Kemp and more.

Stompin On The Quomps – 1st August 2026 - Christchurch Quay

 

Stompin on The Quomps takes place in Christchurch in Dorset, on a Saturday 1 August 2026 from noon until 10pm, presenting a whole day and night of live smooth jazz entertainment for old and young. Now in its 30th year, Stompin’ is an independent, non-profit family-friendly festival – free for everyone to enjoy. Only a few minutes walk from Riverside Park it’s a must visit.

 

The Mudeford Lifeboat Funday - Sunday 11th August 2025 - Mudeford Quay

 

Hosted at Mudeford Quay and Green this is a perfect family fun day with lots to do and enjoy. Live music on the main stage, fun fair rides, super raffle, tombola, cake stall, craft stalls and lots more. Lifeboat demonstrations in the Run, see over 1000 ducks race, join the paddle board races and grab a hot dog or burger from the crew barbecue.

 

Christchurch Carnival Weekend - 14, 15 and 16 August 2026- Christchurch Quay

 

Christchurch Carnival is a FREE community event for you and your loved ones to come together. Their purpose is to raise money for local non-profit organisations and charities.Join in from 14th to 16th August 2026 at The Quay in Christchurch.

 

All of  these events are local to Riverside Park and we recommend visiting them when you’re staying with us.
