Typical Layout

Typical layout of The Heron and The Moorhen. The Swan and The Kingfisher have two double bedrooms on the kitchen/dining room level.

Riverside is made up of townhouses, very comfortable & clean, lovely views, right beside the river (Stour I think it's called) close distance from the town which has plenty of shops & restaurants to choose from, only downside to these holiday houses were I didn't find the kitchens very well equipped, no decent non stick frying pan....one may have been non stick in its day but pancakes were a disaster, the stainless steel whisk was rusty on top & some of the untensils had seen better days! Also when one has travelled a distance it is always nice to freshen up while you get your bearings...No soap? Soap is an inexpensive item, Aldi stores do an enormous bottle for 89p! Aside from that the rooms are comfortable, nice & bright! Shower facilities were very good, oven was great…
