The UK's biggest air festival takes place in Bournemouth and has been an unmissable free event since 2008. Three days of action and entertainment in the air, on land and at night on Thursday 29th August - Saturday 31st August 2024.
The festival has entertained nearly 10.5 million people since 2008 – the award-winning festival is regarded as both leading and innovative, with a first class reputation not just in the UK but Europe and beyond!
We would love to welcome you to stay with us over this amazing weekend, we have some vacancies 23rd to 30th August or 30th to 6th September.
In the air this year you can expect the mighty RAF Typhoon Display Team, the mighty RAF Typhoon Display Team, The Red Devils Army Parachute Display Team, The Red Devils Army Parachute Display Team and so much more! There is also a huge amount of activity on land! From talented traders and exciting Armed Forces displays to captivating performances. There’s also lively funfairs, and a wonderful selection of food and drink, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
When the sun goes down, Night Air entertainment will light up the skies with pyrotechnic night flying, street entertainment and awesome live music.
All this action will be taking place between Bournemouth Pier and Boscombe Pier. The best way to get there from Riverside Park is either on foot or by bike. Alternatively catch the Park and Ride Buses on Friday and Saturday of the festival. A return bus fare is £18 for up to seven people per car. The bus goes from Kings Park, Bournemouth, BH1 4NN, every 15 minutes from 9.00am and you will be conveniently dropped next to the event site on the East Overcliff.

Choose Your Perfect Getaway
We understand that everyone's schedule is different, so we've created two flexible short break options to fit your needs.
Our Midweek Escape gives you a full four nights away, from Monday to Friday, allowing you to truly disconnect and settle in.
If you're looking for a quick and easy reset, our Weekend Getaway offers a three-night stay from Friday to Sunday, perfect for a spontaneous trip with family or friends.

While Riverside Park provides a peaceful haven, the surrounding area offers so much to see and do. Just a short, scenic walk from your holiday home, you can discover the historic charm of Christchurch town centre. For those who love the coast, the beautiful beaches of Mudeford and Southbourne are just a short drive away. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can easily venture into the picturesque countryside of the New Forest, famous for its wild ponies and scenic walking trails.
