Summer is definitely not over yet

We think summer has finally got the memo in Dorset and arrived in September instead! With temperatures of an average of 25 degrees predicted over the next couple of weeks and the whole month expected to be milder and dryer than average we definitely think a Riverside Park visit should be on your ‘To Do’ September list. 

We have to mention this weekend (31st Aug - 3rd Sep) in this month's blog, as we have just had the 15th Bournemouth Air Festival, despite a damp start on Thursday the whole weekend was a roaring success. The sunshine came out and made for an awesome weekend on the ground and in the air. From aerobatic displays from The Red Arrows, The Typhoon, Spitfire, Tiger Army Parachute Team to a variety of entertainment on the ground. We hope to see the incredible festival return next year.

The children are all back at school this week, spectacular weather is forecast and the beaches are quieter. We would love to welcome you to Riverside Park, we even have a 20% off offer for weeks commencing Friday 29th September and Friday 6th October in the Heron.

Due to poor weather Stompin On The Quomps which we mentioned in our July blog was postponed and is now planned to be on Saturday 16th September. 

The highly acclaimed annual jazz festival in Christchurch offers uninterrupted music from noon to night. This free event is immensely popular and features fantastic local food vendors, as well as some of the UK's top jazz performers. You’re encouraged to bring your friends and family, along with a picnic, and savor the day. Located just a short stroll from Riverside Park, you won’t want to miss it.
